Hey there, I'm Brooke...
In college, I thought I was doing everything right by eating “clean" and working out daily as a college athlete. But I was constantly bloated, exhausted, and in pain. I’d cry on the couch from stomach pain and sprint out of class with diarrhea (sorry, TMI?).
I kept blaming stress or telling myself I just wasn’t trying hard enough. After finally getting lab testing and a biopsy, I discovered I had celiac disease.
And once I changed my diet, went gluten-free based on that info, everything changed. No more pain. No more guessing. No more fear around food.
I realized how powerful it is to treat the root cause and how frustrating it is to feel like no one is looking deep enough to actually help you heal.
That moment led me to change my major, become a dietitian, and study nutrition instead of exercise science.
